Acquire new building and custom design a 6000 sq ft grinding facilty with new state of the art profile grinders (7 in all), with a centralized oil and mist collection system.

the Outcome
These specialized grinders allowed the company to dramatically increase guidewire sales which at the time were restricted by existing core wire supplier capacity. This was a pivotal growth point for the company. The machines are still in production today and have produced more than 3 million core wires.
